Sustainability is a key part of Project Nord's ethos! We made sure that each time you get one of our products, you’ll be making a positive impact on the environment based on our simple promise:

Paper is our sacred resource, the material that brings our designs to life! For every poster you buy from us, we plant a tree to help improve our climate and the local ecology.When you make an order, you will receive an email to plant your Project Nord tree. You will be able to see the species of the tree and where it is planted and you can revisit your tree whenever you want!
It's an easy - and fun - way to help solve one of the biggest and most pressing global problems. It's part of our Scandinavian DNA to want to make a positive contribution to the world and our environment. OUR TREE-NATION FOREST
Our "One poster - One Tree" promise means planting thousands of tree every year. To get this done we have teamed up with Tree-Nation. It is an amazing non-governmental organization (NGO) that help us compensate for our CO2 emissions while reforesting areas of the world where it makes a bit difference to the local ecosystems and economies.Tree-Nations manages over 100 reforestation projects and have planted more than 12 million trees around the globe compensating for over 1.6 million tonnes of CO2 emissions - while at the same time helping the sustainable development of local communities in developing countries. They are helping solve some of the most pressing problems in the world - and we are proud to support their work!

THE PAPER WE USE
We use a uncoated, high-quality silk paper, which is durable and has a lovely finish. It’s manufactured specifically for large-format printing with water-based ink.We only use paper made out of wood from forests that are managed responsibly under the guidelines of The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This guarantees that the paper we use to print your poster does not harm the environment - but actually supports the development of sustainable forests.
ECO FRIENDLY LOCAL PRINTING
We chose our printing methods to meet the highest environmental standards in the poster industry. This means we use a water-based, solvent-free, odourless ink, which requires no ventilation. The result is the most environmentally-friendly way to print a poster today.We only print on demand and don't have warehouses full of posters. Instead we print the poster when you order it - so we can avoid wasting raw materials and energy on posters that are not sold.
But our responsibility to the environment doesn't end with the printing process. We strive to be sustainable in all our activities. Therefore we work with local printer in over 30 countries allowing us to reduce CO2 emissions from transport - and as an added bonus you get your poster even faster!
