Sustainability is a key part of Project Nord’s ethos.

We made sure that each time you get one of our products, you’ll be making a positive impact on the environment. Here’s how...

1 poster = 1 tree planted

Paper is our sacred resource, the material that brings our designs to life! For every poster you buy from us, a tree is planted to guarantee the smallest impact on our environment.

When you make an order, you will receive an email to plant your Project Nord tree. You will be able to see the species of the tree and where it is exactly planted ( with a link on the map!) and you can revisit your tree whenever you want! Check out our Project Nord Forest so far!

To start planting, we teamed up with Tree Nation. Tree Nation is an organisation helping us compensate for our CO2 emissions by reforesting the world. So far, they’ve planted more than 4 million trees around the globe. This equates to 1.2 million tonnes of CO2 compensated. So, join the Tree Nation!

We use a FSC certified, uncoated, 250 gsm high-quality silk paper, which is durable and has a lovely finish. It’s manufactured specifically for large-format printing with water-based ink.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ensure that our paper-forests are managed responsibly. Therefore, we know that the wood used to make our paper was sustainably-sourced.

We chose our printing methods to meet the highest environmental standards in the poster industry. This means we use a water-based, solvent-free, odourless ink, which requires no ventilation. As a result, it's the most environmentally-friendly way to print.

We only print on demand, we do not have stock. This way we literally have zero wasted raw materials, which means less impact on our environment.
