Our Fleurs de La Vie poster was inspired by the French artist, Matisse’s famous cutouts. This mesmerising blue print symbolises two flowers, the flowers of life. The title refers and stands in opposition to the famous poetry book, Les Fleurs du mal is a volume of French poetry by Charles Baudelaire. While the book was about the contradictions of existence, this poster celebrates life with its pleasing aesthetics. The blue colour refers to the essence of life on earth: water, and it resembles calmness.
